   Sam was great. I was a little disappointed to hear that Gallo purchased J Winery recently. Not sure how that will influence / impact J Winery. Hopefully not at all!

   We actually ate inside, the weather was too warm to enjoy the terrace experience. That is why the noise level was high. Three were some guests who were laughing energetically, constantly and piercingly. Other than that it was great.

   The bites were perfectly matched to the wines. The bbq sauce on the lamb rid was fabulous.

   We visited J while out wine tasting and it was by far our favorite stop! Superb service, great food, and phenomenal wine made it a great place for our ladies light lunch and pairing!

   We opted for the Patio Tasting at J Vineyards on our visit to the winery. The outdoor area was spacious and while sunny, they had plenty of umbrellas that were easily rotated to provide shade. The inside of the building from what we was looking pretty ornate, which while not my personal style, seemed to fit the brand of J Vineyards. The winery had many wines to choose from, though we had a set menu based on the type of reservation we made. The wines were pretty good, though none really stand out in my mind the way that some other did at the three other wineries/vineyards we visited that day. What I do remember is the way that the wine was paired with the food really enhanced the taste of both the wines and food.

   We tasted 5 of J's outstanding wines. 4 of these were part of the tasting menu, paired with small bites. Each bit was excellent. My favorite was the pork bite that was pared with a Pinot Noir. We joined the J wine club after thoroughly enjoying ourselves.
