   My daughter and I had an exhausting day touring Penn State. We had an early dinner at The Tavern. The atmosphere was fun, the decor lovely, the food delicious and the staff outstanding!

   This is a gem of a restaurant right across the street from Penn State. The cuisine was excellent. I ordered the mushroom ravioli which was lovely but lacking in some sort of sauce. My daughter ordered the Wagyu burger—literally the best tasting burger I’ve ever tried. My friend ordered the Chicken (Milanese I think) which was also outstanding. Would definitely recommend and will revisit next time we’re in State College.

   Excellent, as always. We eat here every time we visit Penn State. I think we’ve tried almost everything on the current menu by now. Especially love the salmon. Desserts are delicious. Service is superb.

   The tavern was a great spot in State College for an Anniversary Dinner! The service was great and table was nice. Food was incredible and came out fast. Loved the ambience and will definitely be going back! All three courses were delicious and drinks were great too!

   As a Penn State alum returning for a tour with my daughter, I was delighted to see The Tavern still serving the same fantastic quality of food and experience 20 years later. It's a true Penn State Gem!!!
