   The perfect meal for vegetarian guest from New Orleans. It is a meal we will long remember. The fig special dessert is among the best ever eaten.

   I Never thought Vegan food could be so Delicious! We dined at Tasteful Kitchen because our family member is Vegan.I have dined in Vegetarian and Vegan restaurants before in Tucson and they were not bad, but this is not your run of the mill Vegan food. Chefs here know what they are doing when it comes to flavors. It was outstanding! I started with the crispy Brussel sprouts and smashed potatoes. Wow. We were pleasantly surprised. Everyone makes fried Brussel sprouts and they are greasy, but these were not. But the taste was outstanding! The Miso Eggplant was prepared with love and skill. Not everyone knows how to prepare eggplant correctly. This was by far one of the best Eggplant dishes I have had in a very long time. The eggplant was stacked like a steak and roasted. It was so soft and delicious and then you got this slight crisp to the sear of eggplant. Set on a bed of coconut black beans. But best was the delicious green curry sauce. I did not have desert, but I am sure it is wonderful. Family members were all satisfied. Crabby Patty's tasted like crab and a fun twist on the name (if you are familiar with Sponge Bob, you'll understand). You should really give this a try. It is hidden and needs more exposure. I am not a Vegetarian nor Vegan and I will be back.

   Tasteful kitchen has no bar but you are welcome to BYOB and pay the corkage fee. We didn't BYOB and simply had water but the meal was amazing. We ended up with leftovers for most of a lunch the next day. Top notch service and elegantly prepared foods.

   This restaurant lives up to its name, consistently bringing out the intrinsic flavors in even simple ingredients. The main recommendation is that the food they serve tastes superb, which is a good quality to have if you're a restaurant. Although not regulars, we have been back several times, and overall they seem even better on each visit. One of the best options for a vegetarian special occasion in Tucson.

   Tasteful Kitchen serves gourmet food that also happens to be all vegetarian and largely vegan. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, down to knowing the ingredients in every dish. My husband is not vegan, but happily ate all of his food and commented on how tasty it all was. I would recommend that you go early, as they were already running out of some of their dishes shortly after we ordered at 6:30 p.m. I have had the miso eggplant on two different occasions and it was fantastic each time. We also tried the cauliflower bites, which were sweet and spicy, and delicious. We finished the meal with the vegan banana cake, which was delicious to vegans and non-vegans alike.

   Traveling from San Antonio, TX to Carlsbad, CA , I found this multi-starred restaurant on my I-Phone, made a reservation through the handy online system, walked from our motel and had a most pleasant dinner. The food was scrumptious. We were especially impressed that vegan/vegetarian food could be so delicious. I would love to have some of those recipes! Tried to repeat the experience on our return from California, but, alas! Tasteful Table was not open on Sunday's. We will look for it again next year.
