   Very loud in there, food was lovely. Staff polite but enforcing a face mask from walking 6ft to the toilets, seemed petty considering shoved cheek by jowl in the men’s. Nice place would recommend

   This is the second time me and my partner have had a bad experience, the first time I thought I would let it slip but after Saturday night I couldn’t not write a review. The drinks service is terribly slow, literally waiting around 20 mins for a round of 4 drinks (beer, cocktail and 2 gins) with plenty of staff on it really shouldn’t take this long when you are paying premium prices. We had to send 3 cocktails back because they tasted sour! We paid for our bill of just over £100 at just before half 9. The bath staff asked if we wanted another drink to which we ordered our drinks.. 15 minutes later... nothing! I approached the bar and asked why we hadn’t had our drinks to be told ‘ oh we close the bar at 9.30’ so why had we been offered drinks etc? Why did you not come and tell us instead of us sat like lemons waiting ? The staff just said oh well the member of staff that was serving you maybe didn’t know ?! Hello?! All staff members should know what on earth your rules etc are! Never again.

   I am extremely sorry you did not have a good time. Your table declined last orders at 9:20 and then tried to order cocktails at 9:35. Unfortunately, we could not make those cocktails & serve them for you to leave the bar by 10pm. A new staff member failed to inform you of this. We are very sorry for this as we can understand it was frustrating. The GM explained this to you and offered a voucher towards cocktails next time which you did not accept, the offer still stands if you wish to return.

   This is not a bad place to eat and relax. My only complaint that I would make is that the young girl serving us gave the impression she would rather be somewhere else!

   Good food as always. Excellent asssistance with a wheelchair user and assistance dog.

   Very weak tea needed at least two bags to a pot. Booked Monday for Saturday and still ended up on sofas and coffee table to eat at

   Hi SandyG. Please let our staff know if you require another tea bag in the pot as you like it stronger and they will be more than happy to do this for you! Also if you require a particular type of table please do not hesitate to call us and request this as open table will allocate any and all tables. If you communicate your preferences with us we will do our best to fulfill them.

   Delicious food as always, tables nicely spaced apart. A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere

   Very reassuring that all covid rules are being followed and enforced. I forgot to put my mask on when I came back from the loo and was given a warning that one more time would lead to me not being able to stay. In these weird times we all need to be working together to ensure people are as safe as possible. Food was good too and it was nice to have a 'nearly normal' meal out with a friend 😁
