Half the menu was unavailable. We waited 10 minutes at the bar before anyone appeared to show us to the table. After 15 minutes of not being offered a drink we decided to leave. Oh and there was a leak in the middle of the restaurant ceiling.

We had an enjoyable lunch for four with family members. The service was attentive and the food was good with a wide menu choice. We look forward to another visit in the near future.

Although I have said I would recommend I do have some caveats to that... We attended on Sat evening at 800pm, the restaurant was very quiet wiht only 3 (I think) other tabels in use. We ordered Rib Eye steaks but were told they had sold out. We than asked for the only other steak on the menu and were told "oh you're lucky they are the last two!" It felt pretty poor that the kitchen could have run out of two main items so early on the Saturday evening. Also, we were in and out in 55 mins as there was no one else for them to cook for or serve. On the positive note the starter tasted really nice and the steak was good quality

Nice enough pub set in a beautiful village location. Could have been amazing but the attitude of the staff let it down. Service was slow and when the serving staff actually did appear, they acted like we were doing them a disservice by being there.

Food was poor - sirloin of beef mainly fat Manager couldn’t be bothered to come and discuss Bill reduction delivered by waitress from manager paltry Very dissatisfied- won’t be returning

There was a good choice on the menu , the service was excellent and the food delicious, the restaurant had a good atmosphere and the staff very friendly.

I have been here dozens of times and keep going back. A lovely country pub and it serves lovely food. The bar is also well stocked. Service is also very good

9 people , fish overcooked and dry. Braised beef chewy. Pork belly not crispy. A really long wait for drinks and over priced
