   Sadly the menu was nothing like that published on their website. There was a selection of bruschetta or some grilled prawns for starter, pasta or pizza for main courses. As this was the case and there were no vegetables served with the main courses I asked for a side order of spinach, which was on the menu. They had run out of spinach (it was a Saturday evening)........., I was offered sauces etc when my main course arrived, and asked for parmesan, this was also out of stock...... Ambiance not great either..... what a disappointment.....

   Sadly all our orders were incorrect. Charming staff but we had to re order and get them to change what they brought to the table. Ham and chicken were dry. Bruschetta was good. It was cold there, good fire but at the other end of pub. Dried eucalyptus and fake pink sweet peas should be removed. Fresh flowers or nothing. Too many good pubs in the area. The Swan will have to up their game.

   We had a lovely relaxed meal and the bar lady/waitress was friendly and helpful.

   WE had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the swan, so goof in fact that we have booked to stay (and eat) for a weekend in March.

   Good venue in pleasant surroundings, clean and tidy. Food excellent, although starters a bit overpriced for what they are.

    We stayed and ate here for an anniversary and it made for a really lovely weekend. Never before have I been anywhere where the staff were so lovely! Each and every one of them are a credit to The Swan
