The Beachside Bistro with its incomparable location for al fresco lunches and dinners and its elegant yet unpretentious food is like nothing else on Nantucket. They closed for the day due to rain and didn’t notify me. I drove all the way over there and found out once I arrived.

We had reservations spent $30 to take an Uber there to find out the place was closed and nobody reached out to us… Very disappointed

We got to this restaurant and it was closed! We drove out of our way across Nantucket Island and there was a sign saying it was closed(due to weather). No one called to tell us it was closed and we struggled to find a place to eat on such short notice. We called the number on Open table and on the restaurants site and the staff seemed extremely in knowledgeable. The first person we talked to said we could eat at their other restaurant the Bistro which we learned from a neighbor burned down a year ago! Extremely disappointing. Would not recommend.

Restaurant was closed despite having a reservation. No one called to let us know they were closed for the night. The hotel itself didn’t know if the restaurant was open or not.

The restaurant was closed when we arrived. We had confirmed with OpenTable the day before, took some time to travel to the restaurant, and when we arrived we were told that they were not open. Very poor communication between open table and the restaurant. The fact that you’re even asking me to review it today, shows how terrible the communication is. Next time I’ll call the restaurant directly and skip open table.

Really weak food for very high prices. Fish sandwich is fried in thick batter and tasteless. Really? Bland, overpriced.
