   We booked to celebrate a special wedding anniversary , having hosted our wedding reception on the premises 30 years ago. I asked for some special consideration as a result and the management and staff could not have been more helpful and cooperative. We had a lovely evening and the food was excellent. We were also given a short tour of the building as it is now (somewhat changed since 1995). I would highly recommend Stravaig for food, decor and atmosphere.

   The food was nice, but a less choice than the last time I visited. There was a few things unavailable on the menu, which was disappointing. The service was quite slow, especially for drinks with some orders being missed and us having to request them again.

   Attentive staff, good food and reasonably priced, will certainly return.Wine a bit pricey tho.

   Delicious lunch. Excellent service. Catered well for food allergies. We have eaten here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.

   Having eaten here several times last night’s experience was poor. My seafood spaghetti contained far too much pasta and the sauce was very thick. My daughter’s bacon steak was very small, contained as much fat as pork and wasn’t warm. My husband’s fish and chips was good. Service from the kitchen was extremely slow.

   Very relaxed atmosphere. Service attentive without being overbearing. Not long to wait for food. Food was flavoursome fresh and hot. Plenty of choice on menu. Fresh ice cold table water provided was a nice touch. Extremely comfortable booth was provided. Loads of space for our large party.

   Another exquisite meal at the Stravaig this year. Took my mum and dad who hadn’t been since the change over. Highly recommend

   Lovely food and friendly service. Nicely decorated restaurant with a great selection of food to please everyone. We had a great evening!

    Staff were so nice and helpful, very attentive to us. David was our waiter and he was just lovely, down to earth and very kind. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you .
