   Top pub. Set in a nice area and only a short walk from Paddington train station. Very nice food, staff and service.

   Needed a full meal by 5pm in this location and Stablehand fitted the bill perfectly. We arrived at 4.45 and initially they said special 2 course meal deal that was advertised as until 5pm was finished. But when we objected they agreed without further fuss. Food was excellent and meal deal great value. Good friendlyservice

   Great service and good food. Though it was fairly busy it wasn't noisy. If the opportunity arises I would go back.

    Did not like dog next to our table - kept shaking out flees should not be allowed in a restaurant. Dish Pie was good, broccoli in dish impossible to eat with knife and fork. Scallops undercooked. Part raw egg on Bubble and squeak. No tip given.
