   The quality of food and atmosphere is excellent. Great service and great gin menu! Would recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed environment, great local food and friendly service to accompany.

   Heard good things about this place. Looked at sample menu online, turned out that there was very little more choice on menu or specials upon arrival. The food was nice on its arrival, but nothing gastro special about it. The 2 staff on front of house, were very welcoming and friendly. Very disappointing attempt at a latte, was more like a cold coffee milkshake. Overall felt pricey for a £50 meal for two with one drink, on a wobbly table sitting next to a radiator that was useless in a very cold room. I can see that some people would love this place, just not for us.

   Heard about this place on social media and thought we’d give it a go. A little quiet as we went on a week day but still a nice atmosphere and I imagine it would be much better with a few more bodies. Very good service, just a shame one of the starters wasn’t actually available and it took a little while after we ordered to be informed. Other than that the food was great, very tasty, healthy and decent sized portions. Unfortunately I was too full to have a pudding! Lovely place, very clean and quirky. Would highly recommend.

   Lovely restaurant, I ordered the pork and black pudding sausages which were amazing my partner had the chicken but got chips instead of the gnocchi, the only fault was that it wasn’t stated on the menu that the chicken was on the bone so when it arrived my partner wasn’t happy as he does not like chicken on the bone, his chips were beautiful though, also I was abit disappointed that the only bottles of the rekordalig cider where what were in the fridge and there was no more after I had had the only one in the fridge at the start of our evening could maybe have understood through the week but with it being a Saturday night I thought there would have been more. All in all I’d definitely come back.

   Another great meal tonight at The Spotted Pig. I've eaten here loads of times and haven't had a bad meal. En passant, I was there when "anonymous one star review" was there, carrying on about the ice cream. We had the misfortune to sit close enough to hear everything that went on, and I think the staff dealt with the atrocious behaviour of that table very well. One of our party was a school teacher and she said that her year 1 children were better behaved. When you finally left there was an audible cheer from our table.

    The meat pies were very tasty and obviously home made, but some of the meat was a little chewy. Service was rather slow, but they are trying hard to please.
