Had a reservation for 7PM, called to let them know we were running late. Was told that if we were not there and placed our order by 7:45 we could not be served. Arrived at 7:33 and there was only one other couple in the place. Decided to go somewhere else.

Love the patio. Great food. Nice atmosphere. Sad to hear they close in October for a rebuild, opening in 18 months. But new building will be spectacular.

We enjoyed our lunch so much. The food is quality. Service is above and beyond and a beautiful scenic view. We would highly recommend The Shore Restaurant.

What a wonderful day we had! Started with a warm and welcoming greeting from Heather.and continued with excellent service from Matthew. The venue and patio could not be better on a beautiful summer afternoon. Drinks and beverages were spot on. Can not wait to return.

We brought family who were visiting from out of town. They had never been to Canandaigua Lake and it was a perfect day. We were joined by friends who had been there. Everyone enjoyed their food, the company and the whole experience.

The restaurant was very nice. We were just disappointed that even through we put celebrating a birthday in the Open table Reservation, the staff at the restaurant never acknowledged the birthday. Not even a candle in the deserts we ordered or even just saying Happy Birthday. We did request to be seated with a view, and they held a table where we could overlook the lake. The staff was friendly, our waiter was great and the food was good. We were disappointed in the roasted potatoes and the crab cake appetizer was very small. The manager gladly took the charge for the potatoes off the bill. I do recommend the restaurant, just not for a birthday celebration.

The lakefront setting was lovely but the food did not measure up. The quinoa that accompanied the salmon was flavorless. The potatoes served with the filet, non descript. The sorbet needed time to soften. The tiaramsu was delicious, however. And our server was very amiable.

we had a wonderful meal here on the terrace, and the service was great. too bad the inn is closing soon for renovations. hopefully when they reopen the new restaurant will be as good as the old one!
