   The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and when we left. One waitress had the task of seating us, taking our drinks order, pouring them and bringing them to our table. We ordered our meals and had to wait 50 minutes for them to be delivered to our table. "The order did not go through to the kitchen from the computer". A second waitress brought the bill and we explained that I am diabetic and had taken my insulin some 35 minutes before the food arrived. Some forewarning would have aaleviated our annoyance and my anxiety.

   Unfortunately the menu and price advertised on line had been changed, a little disappointing. This our first visit but others in the party had been before, they commented that it was not as good as previous visit. Some dishes were good others quite average with rather small portions all round. Even though it is local to us I'm not sure we would rush back.

   We booked The Ship Inn to celebrate my wife's mum's birthday. It was ideal, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good and they even catered lovely for 2 great great grandaugthers. Overall excellent quality very and good value food,

   We were the only people in all night (5 ), no music, no atmosphere. The lamb dish lacked vegetables and colour

    warm welcome, good service, nice food, glad we arrived when we did as we were followed by lots of people, nice atmosphere
