   It this was a school report I'd give B-. Why? Food was good, drinks (a wine and a beer) good quality, and the service prompt and engaging. But no one had bothered to clear the garden area of litter and full ashtrays from the night before. And the online booking system offered us a 11.45 'slot', when it turned out the pub doesn't even open until midday!

   It took two hours fifteen minutes to have a meal of only two courses and this was with reminders that we were there. The staff were grossly overstreched . You need to learn to phase your bookings so it is a more pleasant experience for your customers and a less stressful experience for your staff

   Sunday lunch - potatoes were inedible. Replacements were given and these were worse. Portion sizes were very small. Not returning.

   Great location and friendly staff. Food was good - traditional pub food, but well presented and good value.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, excellent food and exceptional service. They had a new computer system and it was causing chaos plus it forgot our dessert order. They couldn’t have been more apologetic and handled the issue brilliantly. We will definitely be visiting again when we are next up in Suffolk.

   We enjoyed a very tasty lunch. The fish and chips are wonderful. Not too many chips and plenty of tartare sauce.

   Rather disappointed. One of two starters never arrived and both were cold selections so no excuse. Restaurant noisy with 5 persons next to us. No soft furnishings in the room so nothing to absorb the noise. Would not return.

    Very good tasty burger but heritage tomato salad very small for the price .and burger s bit overpriced for lunchtime pub food
