About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Kid-friendly
  • Great for outdoor dining
The Seacroft is a food led pub in the beautiful seaside village of Trearddur Bay. Our food is high quality unpretentious 'gastro-pub' food. Our Fish & Chips are well renowned and our menu is large and varied. We buy local produce when ever we can and have a specials menu full of local seafood with a large grill selection on the main menu. We also have a pizza oven and good selection of salads and pasta dishes. Our bar is fully stocked with the usual selections on Real Ales and draft Lagers and we have large selections of gins, rums and cocktails available. Our wine list is expertly put together to cover all tastes and budgets. We look forward to welcoming you.

Quality of food very good but quantities of dishes too much especially the sharing starter and the fish pie.We hate to see so much food wasted.

The food was lovely but the service was very poor on this occasion. We had to wait awhile for our food order to be taken and then we had to go and ask a member of staff for our drinks order. Staff never checked if we had enough drinks but the gentleman on duty did ask us if our food was good.

I ordered a daily special of Red Mullet. This was basically inedible due to the quantity of bones. I am unsure if this is a feature of Mullet or simply poor filleting. Either way, this didn't make for a pleasant experience.

The Seacroft is not what it used to be! Our initial greeting was not very welcoming. The service was extremely slow and two out of our three orders came out together but we had to wait too long for the third one. The beef burger when it did come was dry and over cooked. All in all I have to say it was a disappointing wedding anniversary meal.

Service was good and staff friendly. We booked a table for 6pm and were served quickly. We had 2 young children with us who were eager to do the colouring sheets but all pens were out despite it not being overly busy. Maybe a good idea to stock more. Food was very nice and great portion sizes. Only criticism is the onion rings were very tasteless. A large group were seated behind us part way through and I hate to moan but they were so loud that we couldn't have a conversation on our table as we couldn't hear each other. This spoilt the atmosphere for us. I would still recommend and would visit again.

Food not as good as usual, bread very hard and unable to cut under mushrooms and chicken skewers a little dry
