With beautiful surroundings, and a stylish interior, The Saxon Mill in Warwick is a classic meets modern pub, a perfect setting for any occasion. Our chefs take pride in preparing fresh, delicious tasting food using the finest ingredients. Signature dishes include spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit, slow cooked pork belly with seared scallops, salmon supreme served with thyme-roasted butternut squash, and our home-made British beef burger.     Pros Absolutely gorgeous venue and setting. Sunday roast was delicious and worth the trip Good Yorkshire pud Had a lovely walk by the river after Staff were very friendly and nice Food came prompt Good dessert Cons My potatoes were burnt sadly Took a little while to get serviced for dessert although staff was very apologetic

    This was my first visit and I won't be going back in a hurry. Parking was difficult, the food wasn't great - we went for Sunday lunch and the food was barely warm when it arrived. The beef was OK but the vegetables weren't well cooked at all and were tasteless - they weren't served separately, just dumped on the plate with the meat. I had the mini dessert and hot drink combo to finish - the dessert was nice but the hot chocolate was powdery. Disappointing as I had heard good things about this place

    Service was good, nice location and ambiance however the food was cold, for the prices of a fillet steak I would expect a lot better

    Food took over an hour to come out and was cold. It was so bad, for the first time ever we just walked out and got a Dominoes...

    Service was indifferent. Was offered water at table. Had to ask for it again. Offered bread to share at the table - didn’t realise it was billed at £6.50 Selected wine from list - price printed didn’t match what they had on tablet. Was told they’d deduct the difference, but when the bill arrived, it wasn’t. Wine “waiter” just poured the glasses & walked away. Fortunately it was fine. The food was good - all credit to the kitchen staff on turning out attractive, tasty dishes. The Saxon Mill won’t feature on our list to revisit for a long time.

    For a start we could not park in the car park or anywhere nearby. Inside it was complete chaos with serving staff running everywhere. There was broken glass and spilled food from the kitchen all around our table which no one bothered to attend to. The service was slow and we simply ate our food when it eventually arrived and left as soon as we could. Overall very disappointed as previous visits had been good.

    We went here for Fathers Day We all had the set 3 course menu Food was quick and good We had a mixture of Lamb roast/ Chickn roast and the Vegetarian Deserts were good as well Nice setting
