   We thoroughly enjoyed a special birthday lunch here. The ambience in the restaurant is just eight, and the service faultless.

   We had an amazing meal and the server was great. Actually the entire evening was great Thank you to the entire staff for helping make my daughters birthday memorable

   Same as previous experiences, we love the food and the ambience in this restaurant except for the live music with piano which is played too loud therefore guests need to speak very loud and louder and loud et to be heard by their party. Had asked for the upstairs 8 persons table but was apparently not available week days … only weekends 😡 We are regular customers to Cardero’s that we love … difference is : over there, if you choose to listen to Jeff then you go to the bar side, but if you prefer a quieter place, then you go to the restaurant side. Idea of systematically mixing loud music with people who come to exchange with their guests is not the best idea. Please think about it, Ollivier

   The tuna stack, while tasty, had chunks of tuna and mango that were quite large, like small dice, so not subtle. Sakura roll sushi was ok but not worth the price. Oysters (raw) were good, but lemon slice dessert was thin and tastless, and looked like it came from Safeway. Coffee (espresso)was excellent

   10/10, 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came here for dinner on a Sunday night and it was spectacular. Quiet evening, amazing food and one of the best experiences in service we’ve ever had. My partner tried sablefish for the first time, and I highly recommend this to anyone coming here to dine. The best sablefish we’ve ever had. I ordered two rolls of sushi (one was part of the Cherry Blossom special menu); I’m very picky with my sushi, and without a doubt the best sushi I’ve had. Flavour, portion, and presentation 10/10. The service went above and beyond making this an unforgettable dining experience. High recommend if you are in Vancouver. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
