   The local oysters were good. We got them during happy hour and saved $.50 per oyster. The lobster roll was really good as well.

   Delicious seafood. Excellent drinks. Friendly and helpful staff. Crab roll was the best I've had. Rolls were delicious.

   This was our third time to The Salt Line - Ballston. As usual, it was excellent. We were pleased to find out that Happy Hour extended to 7pm on Mondays. We had happy hour-priced drinks and a dozen oysters and the smoked fish salad to start. Everyone enjoyed the Parker House Rolls, and their entrees. I had a bowl of the wonderful clam chowder and tuna tataki for my dinner. Desserts were great too. We tried the donuts and raspberry sorbet. Yum.

   An interesting menu of seafood-themed dishes. Our Fried Crab Claws and Fried Calimari were OK, but nothing too special -- more breading than meat. The Cod Balls were tastier. What stood out positively was the range of drinks and the great Happy Hours prices ($5 for a 16 oz. Narragansett lager, a great deal!). Service was actually TOO attentive -- we had multiple servers stop by to ask if we wanted another round or more food, and others who whisked our plates away while we were still eating. I will come back to try to mains and oysters and to see if the service is a bit more standard at times when they are busier. It's at a convenient location in Ballston with a good nautical atmosphere.

   We had a server in training, they were a bit difficult to understand, and they didn’t always understand our needs. Mostly attentive, but took a while to get the check. Very noisy atmosphere probably didn’t help overall hearing.
