   We sat outside and ordered drinks, they came up in a reasonable time Ordered food , one of our party had veggie option but the rest had roast , because they brought out the veggie we all had to leave my daughter to start eating on her own , this could have been managed better.Then there were no knives and forks brought out and we had to wait while our food sat on the plates.The roasts were good but not as good as they have been in the past , food didn’t seem as well cooked but overall still a pleasant visit.

   Fabulous food fantastic staff the owner has done an amazing job with growing the bistro booking again very soon and xmas on the way where I will bring my business clients to again this year Thank-you sackville x

   A very disappointing lunch with terribly slow service. We waited half an hour for a jug of water and over an hour for our food order to arrive and at no time was an apology offered.

   It was very busy and although our drink order was taken quickly, it was a while before the food order was taken. The food was cooked nicely and we enjoyed it. There must be an ice machine in the bar area and that made a terrible noise when it dispensed the ice. Our servers were lovely, helpful and with big smiles.

   Excellent as always. Service well organised and Molly our waitress was excellent. Food is always very fresh, frequently renewed with a great selection of vegetables. Our sixth visit says it all!!!

   On arrival, our table that we had booked already had someone sat on it and we had to be placed elsewhere. We waited half an hour before having to call someone over to take our drinks order and tell the staff that we would like the carvery dinner. Once we had got our carvery dinners, there was no cutlery to help ourselves to, nor on our table. We had to ask 3 times for our table to be provided with some cutlery, by which time our food was cold. The food was good quality and the restaurant is very nice, however, we were utterly disappointed by poor service and nearby tables arguing with staff.

    Excellent food and service.Bethany was particularly helpful and attentive.The carvery is always good and fresh.The rose wine however was not great.We will go back.
