About this restaurant

Great for scenic views
Romantic

Due to the size of our restaurant and nature of the building we must reduce capacity by over 50 percent. This is to adhere to social distancing requirements and allow enough space for diners to enjoy their meal in the knowledge that government guidelines are being met. In order to increase capacity due to reduced tables in the restaurants, we have added dining arrangements in our lounge bar (which is for dining purposes only). Please note that our lounge is on first floor and has no view. You may be seated in lounge and not restaurant.

For the restaurant to be viable including additional cleaning procedures are met, we have allocated an hour and a half per booking. Consequently, we require guests to arrive promptly in order that we can seat and explain our in-house procedures at the booked time. Masks are not required to be worn when sitting down at your table. I hope you understand our measures as we are taking your health and safety seriously. We ask guests to pay by card.

Although it is a limited menu, the quality of the items was first class. Very well presented and full of flavour.

Amazing food, we had the mussels and the cod which it was súper, the staff was really nice and attentive, good covid measures

We enjoyed the food: I had cauliflower tacos and my husband had the chicken. The cheeseboard was a nice selection of Scottish cheeses: blue murder, Arran with mustard seeds, Clara Brie and a smoked cheese. We asked for more oatcakes and this was no problem. What let it down was the decor as the room is a fairly uninspiring beige room with little atmosphere at the top of the stairs. Staff were lovely.

No atmosphere, overpriced and disappointing food. Style over substance and was glad to get out. Not a good dining experience Tiny portions so dont go here if you are hungry as you will be heading for a bag of chips on the way home.

Food was delicious. Staff were very attentive and taking all covid guidelines seriously! Glad we got booked in. Really nice meal for last night of our holiday!

We had booked a table in the bar area. When it said bar area, I didn’t expect it to be a room with zero windows, no atmosphere and you could hear a pin drop. The prices were harbourside prices but you couldn’t even see the harbour. It was so quiet it made us feel uncomfortable and we didn’t even eat, we left.

Lovely meal and good value for money. Service was also excellent. Not the most ambient space as I was in the bar area at the top of the stairs in a dark corner but other than that, a lovely dinner.
