   There was a friendly welcome and the bar and restaurant had pleasant atmosphere . The tables were well spaced out in a variety of different rooms on various levels with good quality cutlery and napkins. The menu was well thought through and although limited in scope the offer of a choice of light meals as well as starters and the mains was appreciated for those who do not need a big meal. The food was very well prepared, tasty and professionally presented and served promptly by friendly and efficient staff. We had an enjoyable meal and will visit again it was pleasing to note that there was no added service charge , leaving it to us to leave a tip if we wished, which we did.

   An excellent meal for three adults. We received a warm welcome from the team on arrival. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We have no hesitation in recommending The Riverside and will be back.

   Food absolutely beautiful. There were 5 of us and we all had 3 courses, all delicious. This is way above the standard of your average pub food. As for comfort, we felt it was a little basic and slightly cold whilst waiting to go through to the table. At the table, it was wobbly and it was very quiet in the room we were in. There were 5 of us and we felt quite conscious that we might be noisy, compared to the other two tables of two. With hard floors and little soft furnishings, it felt very echoey. Other than that, the food was divine so will definitely return.

   This was our second visit in a week. We brought three dogs and we sat in the bar to wait for a table on the terrace. Such a stunning spot, and the food was perfect as usual, the wait staff ran themselves ragged as it was an unusually hot day and they kept up their typical perfect delivery. I love the ethos of Riverside and they really do know how to deliver.

   Five stars all round! Cannot fault our experience at all. Only problem is there isn’t enough parking!

   Lunch time experience, moderate numbers made for a relaxed time in this lovely pub/restaurant, though past experiences of busy times were just as enjoyable. Food outstanding in the literal sense, imaginative dishes, would stand comparison with the best metropolitan, service perfect. We didn't fancy wines this time. We will definitely go again.

    A grand experience from arrival to departure. The chicken and sea bass were exceptional. Have the bread as a starter. Yum! Staff could not have been more attentive or pleasant. Highly recommend.
