We proudly serve contemporary Italian and modern European cuisine with the freshest locally grown and handcrafted products available. We also feature delicious and unique ingredients from around the world. Chef/Owner Luciano Cibelli shops daily, personally selecting every item we serve. He bakes fresh breads, rolls, desserts and all of the pasta in house (including a special Gluten Free Bucatini) and he develops his menus in rhythm with the seasonal San Diego harvest. The service was excellent, only to be exceeded by the delicious food. The chef came out to our table a few times. He also made a special mushroom risotto for my husband that was amazing. My lobster ravioli was so good I didn’t even let anyone at our table try it. The pasta was homemade and perfectly al dente. Our guests had the lamb over risotto and scallops. We will definitely return!

This was a great experience we had the chefs special! It was amazing the chef came out to greet the guest. There is a bar/ cocktail area with live music or classic restaurant style it’s a 2 in 1. The waiter was amazing and the food was delicious it came in a timely manner. I will be back!!

Second time at the Red Door, my friend recommended me this place. The food was delicious, especially the free-range chicken — you need to try it, it has a special sauce. And overall if you’re craving good Italian food - definitely recommend this place. Good for a dinner with friends or a date night. 🍝🍷

Service was good but the food was very disappointing. It is over priced and the food is mediocre at best. I had the risotto and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it. My husband had the chicken parm and said it was just ok. We split the harvest vegetable salad. No drinks and our bill was $114!! We wouldn’t go back.
