   We eat at this pricey restaurant every year for the past dozen years. The selections are plentiful, creative, tasty and elegantly served. The service could not be improved; it is personal and attentive. At our last visit ,1 August , I was shocked to find that there was a charge for a second cup of coffee. The cups themselves are small, which begs for more esp. so since the second cup seemed to be fresher and hotter than the first. After an expensive dinner charging for the second cup is just chintzy. It spoils the whole atmosphere of the experience. And they never told me until the bill came. They also served a cheddar cheese cake which was not cheddar tasting and not all that cheesy , another disappointment since the dessert tray was otherwise outstanding.. I hope they change their policy about the second cup by next year at this time.
