The Praline Connection is located just two blocks from the French Quarter and two blocks from the Mississippi River. This down-home restaurant features Creole and Cajun food homemade from authentic recipes. What started out as a home meal delivery service has turned into an award-winning and popular eatery.The menu at the Praline Connection is straight-up local cuisine. The po'boy sandwiches feature soft shell crab, shrimp, oysters and more. Entrées include everything from meatloaf to crawfish and shrimp étouffée. If you can't decide, there's "A Taste of Soul" platter with filé gumbo, jambalaya, ribs, fried chicken, red beans and rice, greens, catfish strips and dessert. Of course, a visit to the Praline Connection wouldn't be complete without trying the exceptional praline candies made fresh on the premises daily.
