   We had a great dinner at The Poolclub. We were the only ones there. It reminded us of restaurants in Tulum. The food was amazing although more expensive than any other restaurant we ate at while in San Pedro. Would’ve been so fun with a lively crowd. Would definitely visit again.

   We went for dinner. We tried the calamari rings and baba ganoush from appetizer menu. Both were delicious. We also have the seafood pizza which we also liked. Make sure you spray yourself with bug repellent because we end up with some bites. We also think that this restaurant is on the expensive side.

   Great food, beautiful ambiance and wonderful service. There was a little timing issue with my meal coming out so much sooner than my partner’s but the server handled it well and resolved the issue. Food was tasty and service was one of our top experiences on Ambergris.

   The aesthetic of the Pool club is awesome. It is a beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately that's where it ends. As we sat down we could hear the table behind us complaining about the service. We quickly realized they were not wrong. We gave the waiter our drink order and the waiter came back two times to ask what drinks we ordered. Upon ordering entrees we were told ten minutes later that there was no pizza dough, strange for a place that has a woodfire pizza oven on display. The drinks were very overpriced for Belize (approx $20+ USD) and not that tasty. The entrees bland. I know they just opened but I hope they can sort out the service and food because the ambiance is A+.

   Unbelievable food and beautiful layout. More local options on the menu is needed. Service was terrible. The bartender attempted to fill the gap. Waitress just disappeared after we got the check.
