   We were greeted and served with the utmost respect and care. The steak was cooked to perfection, best steak I’ve had in Toowoomba. I would 100% recommend this place

   We ordered 2x steaks, 2x drinks, 2x desserts and 1 side. The side of carrots was good and quite possibly the only thing worth talking about. The steaks were both ordered medium-rare, however one was well done and the other was medium teetering on well done with very little pink, the steaks were good quality and that may have been their saving grace but also was dissapointing to see a good steak cooked poorly. Service was really good, but the food was not to standard for the price point.

   Ordered two 300g steaks eye fillet The value for money was not there with being served steak and chips and sauce that didn't even feel like it was fresh or real mushroom sauce for $56 dollars per steak. As working in a commercial kitchen for 8 or so months training for a chef when I was younger they teach you about passion for food this really showed no love for what was being cooked. Like there wasn’t even garnish.

   We had a very enjoyable evening. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Our meals were superb, and served efficiently, with just the right amount of wait time between courses.

   We had booked a table for two for my wife's birthday a week in advance. I had specifically booked a table in the carpeted restaurant area. On the night, we were very well dressed and punctual for our booking. The waitress showed us to a table in the crowded and noisy bistro area.?? Certainly NOT what we'd booked!!?? When my wife asked if we could be located somewhere quiet, the waitress was rudely abrupt. She told us how busy they were and we could either sit here or we could sit outside!!! I was shocked that a waitress would be so rude to a customer without any provocation!! I pointed out that we'd specifically booked our table in the carpeted area. If she refused us our booked table that wasn't available, we would leave. She went away, checked and then moved us to one of two empty tables in the area we'd booked that magically became "available"?? I'm not accustomed to being treated rudely by staff full of their own self importance!! The food was beautiful, couldn't fault it, but the evening was brought down by the initial and unexpected rude treatment. I would suggest that this waitress be re educated in customer management and basic manners. If this had not occurred, I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant for it's beautiful food, however NO ONE should pay for or tolerate rude staff. DISAPPOINTED

   My partner and I thought we would try the restaurant as we were in town. We were seated at table 20 and found ourselves fascinated by the fast paced kitchen which we had a clear view of. While watching this I witnessed the chef eat off a plate that was just plated, then when he was plating "my" ricotta and truffle ravioli the sauce spilt on the side of the bowl which he then wiped with his finger licked his finger and repeated. The sucking of his fingers was witnessed several more times, all while garnishing every meal that went through the pass. Not to mention how he spoke to the young waitress staff was absolutely appalling. The other staff we dealt with were absolutely great! Could not pick a fault.

   Staff are always amazing, food was fine not loving this menu as much as the previous. Fair value for money.

    Service was brilliant….. Waiter made us feel as if were the only patrons in attendance….. I do apologise, I can’t remember his name. We left a tip, and he is an absolute legend in his attention to detail…..
