Located in downtown Rehoboth Beach on Baltimore Avenue, The Pines American Bistro delivers a standout dining experience with bold American cuisine, craft cocktails, and award-winning hospitality. Executive Chef Kyle Berman—whose background includes three Michelin Star and James Beard-recognized kitchens—crafts a full farm-to-table menu in the dining room and a lite fare menu upstairs in the Treehouse Lounge. The Pines is part of Second Block Hospitality, named Delaware’s Restaurateurs of the Year and a 2024 & 2025 OpenTable Diner’s Choice Award winner. Signature dishes include our Steak Frites, Braised Short Rib, Pub Burger, and House made Mozzarella Sticks. We are open year-round. Please note: All reservations through OpenTable are for the downstairs restaurant only.

    Wednesday Wines at The Pines featuring HB Wine Merchants is in the Treehouse Lounge and will be hosting by wine expert Mike Riego. Mike will be walking you through 4 Tastings. Usually, two whites and two reds he carefully selected to highlight which are unique and flavorful to a specific area in Europe. Executive Chef will also prepare four tastings to compliment each selected wine to balance your experience. HB Wine Merchants is a wholesale producer, importer, and marketer of fine wines in the United States. They have their wines in distribution in 46 states by a hand chosen group of fine wine oriented distributors. They represent more than 60 growers of estate-bottled wines in Burgundy, Chablis, the Rhône, Loire Valley and Southern France as well as some of the best wines available from Italy, Germany, Spain, New Zealand and Canada. Tickets are non-refundable. Be kind and give them to friends if you cannot attend.

    We love the Pines and go often. The one thing we all agreed on at our most recent visit is that the menu could use more seafood entrees. Our favorites are the gem ricotta salad and the burgers. The seasonal cocktails are always good.

    The Tuesday night special of Fried Chicken with two sides and half price cocktails and Beer is too good to believe. Such a deal!!!! The food was excellent. loved everything. Had a couple really. great cocktails. I am sold!!

    We had a great first experience at The Pines celebrating my husband’s birthday. We enjoyed our appetizers (ricotta toast and calamari)and almost hesitated to order dinner. We both chose dishes from the Thursday night Comfort Food menu. We both loved the salad and Parker roll included with the meal. I wished I had asked about the spice/heat level on the pasta dish after spotting fra diavolo on the regular menu. Indeed my dish was a bit more spicy than I had expected but my husband willingly swapped and I enjoyed his chicken. Our attentive server noticed the exchange of plates and later the manager presented my husband with a chicken order to go on the house, a very nice touch especially since we had not asked. We didn’t want to leave without sampling dessert so we shared a lemon tart that brought a great meal to a close. The Shape of You cocktail was delightful as well. We will return!!

    The restaurant was walking distance from Rehoboth Beach. The service and waiter/bartender was phenomenal. The drinks were tasty and strong. The value for the entire meal was incredible. It’s a highly recommendation for me!! B

    The service and food preparation was outstanding! The salmon and short rib entrees are highly recommended. Excellent Peanut Butter Pie. The best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. Bravo!!

    We were very excited about dining at The Pines. Unfortunately, on this evening it fell a bit short of my expectations. I believe they were understaffed . Do not attempt to order cocktails that are not on the standard menu. Not having a draft beer selection was also quite…odd.

    Our “go to” restaurant when we want a night out. Food consistently excellent. Highly recommend a Pines Manhattan. 🥃 Servers are attentive and great people to get to know. Top off your meal with the Lemon Tart for dessert. Relax and enjoy!
