This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building’s roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

    Beautiful place to stay. Odd noise in sauna disturbed my nights sleep unfortunately. Good is gorgeous but for someone with coeliac disease I felt the menu was very suboptimal and far more choice for my partner who could eat normally. So many foods can be gluten free now I can’t see why it is deemed ok to display thirty foods of which only 3 I could eat. Very expensive stay but worth it as a treat even if I think it could be done even better.

    I have always enjoyed coming to The Pigs, however I was slightly disappointed on this occasion. The service was very slow and it didn't seem overly busy. I also found the portion sizes for the meals were much smaller. This is such a shame as in the past I've always raved about how old The Pigs is.
