   Unfortunately we did not get to eat at the Phoenix Sunday night due to Hurricane Harvey wreaking havoc on our favorite Texas town. But I have dined at this restaurant multiple times over the last several years to know that the food is excellent and the waitstaff is super friendly. I truly hope that they have not sustained too much damage that they won't rebuild. I can't wait for this town to get back on their feet so we can come and stay and support the local joints.

   About the nicest restaurant in downtown Port A we could find. Food and Sushi were very good. A bit pricey for the meal, but I expected that. Scallops and Crab Cakes were awesome!

   Took too long for the food and we don't drink alcohol, we felt like our bill was run up because we weren't having wine! This is our third visit we loved it last two times this time we were told extra charge if you want more bread, we ordered a $30.00 appetizer and then we're charged $1.00 for two cocktail sauces and .50 for an extra salad dressing and the menu states you can add a crab cake for 12.00 we were charged 14.00 for an appetizer crab cake! The food is good for the most part oh and you can't sub your vegetable it's full price if you do 6.00 for an order of mashed potatoes!

   A very lively restaurant with dining both inside and outside. Inside is quieter and more formal. The outside dining was obviously warmer, noisier and more casual. The food is good and reasonably priced. Without reservations you can expect to wait on a weekend night and parking is a real bear. Definitely one of the nicer restaurants in Port Aransas.

   Great food and drinks. The crab claws are the best this time of year. A little expensive $30 but if you have a group its a great appetizer! The sushi Lew is my favorite ! Ruby and Waldo are great too with the Miso soup. Don't forget to try the Phoenix Old Fashion or Lemon drop Martini ! Andi and Victor are friendly servers that makes sure you get exactly what you want. Andi even sang us a lil birthday song!!😄

   Great food and bar drinks. The best Phoenix Old Fashion with dark red cherries ! Reasonable pricing for all the food you get. Always the same Great service, great sushi and great bread!! My favorite sushi is Lew and Ruby! Best to make reservation to get a table before 8:00 pm.

   Fantastic sushi! Very fresh and prepared as well as some of the best in Austin. Service was friendly, professional, and prompt. Pretty casual atmosphere.

   Hostess is always short and borderline rude, everytime, it is almost as if it is a theme??? Peak times , they seem overwhelmed, short handed. It is what it is , I guess. Island peak season.

    The fried fish was cod. In Port A, I would appreciate fresh fish caught in the Gulf. At least it wasn't tilapia. The bread is amazing! And the Reubens at lunch are the best!!!
