   It's not as good as it used to be, but thankfully still have some of the classic dishes from the previous owners - especially the amazing salt & pepper wok fried lobster! They totally missed on the Boho cookie recreation though. I'd still go back and enjoy it, but I'm not sure it holds favorite status anymore.

   Beautiful renovation. We’ve been coming for the wok fried lobster since the early 2000s and this iteration was equally delicious. However, seconds before our entrees were served, our waiter informed us they were still looking for the wine we ordered. The sommelier finally delivered it when we were half way finished with our meal. He was apologetic, but it was a big let down to our overall dining experience. They should have held our meals or asked if we wanted a different bottle. I know it’s new management, so I hope they improve the overall meal/beverage coordination because everything else was great.

   So glad The Pearl is open again. We had one of the best meals we have ever had on the island. Highly recommend!

   I was very excited to have the wok Fried Lobster which used to be my favorite meal on Nantucket. It was awful...rather like a cheap Chinese Restaurant. And they couldn't even make a chilled martini. So sad!

   Truly the best experience all month on the island. Best food, service, etc and the remodel is beautiful. Great job!

   The food was exceptional, and brought to the table immediately after being completed. So quickly infact, that the fish (I had the pan roasted halibut) was piping hot, but the pickled radishes were still refrigerator cold! The other dish we had, the swordfish, was prepared differently than any other swordfish I have ever had. Thin sliced, breaded, and fried, almost like a cutlet, and very juicy inside, not dry as swordfish sometimes can be. Our waiter, Nas (?), was great. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and he made it a special night. Excellent service and his recommendations for wine, appetizers, and entres were right on target.

    Noise level was ridiculous. Even the servers had to shout. The food was outrageously good.
