The ambience is intimate with wonderful touches of color and art throughout. Service is warm and attentive. The food is served steaming hot and delicious, with one exception. I ordered the Teatro pasta, which is pepper linguine with sun dried tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, and a pink sauce. It was delicious. My friend ordered the eggplant parmigiana which was baked and served in its own cast iron dish. It looked amazing. The only letdown was my husband’s pasta with tomatoes, garlic and basil. I tasted it and had to agree with him that it was just not good. It had a bitter taste. He should have said something at the time, but did not. Otherwise, dinner was satisfying and well worth the hour long drive from across town.

I really enjoyed the bruschetta. The eggplant parmesan casserole was hot and delicious. The cannoli was crispy and yummy. The servers are attentive and friendly. There is colorful original art on the walls and shelves. It appears that they have lots of regulars. They have fairly short hours so you are advised to get a reservation even for 5 p.m.
