   Great salad bar. We often have the filet mignon. Tonight we had the chicken dishes. Awesome. Would order again. Have always enjoyed our meals.

   My wife have eaten at this restaurant for years when we have the opportunity to visit the area. We have never been disappointed. The wait staff have always been pleasant and it is good to see many of the same ones time and time again. The food is wonderful and fairly priced for it’s quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   New York strip stalls ordered medium cane out less than rare. Steak was a butcher cut selection, not a chef cut preparation. I expected better for $70.

   The facilities were excellent, the food delicious, and our server, Don, was very attentive and professional. The salad bar was a large structure in the front of the restaurant, but the selections were not very exciting.

   You have to put everything into perspective. Gatlinburg is not home to multiple Wine Spectator restaurants. If you’re a hardcore foodie, go to Asheville NC. But if you’re a foodie like me and came to Gatlinburg to hike, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised with this place. All entrees come with a well stocked salad bar. Best salad I’ve had all week. Homemade basil dressing is well done. The pecan crusted chicken was amazing. Two in our party had the broiled trout. Great hickory smoked flavor. Ribs were better than the town’s top rated BBQ joint. I also had the baked sweet potato with maple butter. Sinful. And to top it off, my sons each consumed a massive mountain of peanut butter chocolate mud pie. Food was served piping hot including the rolls. Small but reasonable wine selection. I’m not a big fan of Southern wines but the merlot from the Biltmore Estate was an exceptional value and surprisingly delicious. Some reviews complained about the price, but everywhere in Gatlinburg is overpriced...get over it.
