   The Oxford Pub was the proverbially "needle in the haystack!" WHAT A FIND!!! My guest and I were fortunate to sit outside on a sunny afternoon and now that Murphy Street has been closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian walkway, even made it more delightful! I was looking for something different and found it! More surprising was the twists in flavor, ingredients and presentation on common dishes such as fried calamari strips, beef stroganoff bowl and tri-tip sandwiches. Fresh, hot, tasty and to top it off a great selection of beers to accompany the food. I tried their "seasonal roundtable' and was served a bourbon-barrel stout that blew my mind and tastebuds! In short, if you are tired of the "same o - same-o" for menu items, I invite you to sample what is on The Oxford Pub's menu for a welcomed surprise!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

   Okay overall. Some meals were excellent, others just so so. Service was pretty slow.

   The restaurant staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. They did not rush us to order our food and drinks. It's a great place to meet friends because the restaurant isn't noisy, making it easy to have a conversation and enjoy the food and drinks.

   I went to The Oxford with colleagues. The service was attentive, the food delicious, and they have a great selection of UK beers. Love the Old Speckled Hen!

   3 at a table and 1 person at the bar for lunch besides my friend and I. We both had a salad with grilled shrimp and citrus vinaigrette which had very little flavor. She ordered an alcoholic beverage but he made it without by mistake. Too much trouble to have him make it right! So, the Food and service were mediocre but it was Monday lunch. Wouldn’t go again.

   Noise level is fairly quiet, good for business discussions. Server rushed us awkwardly. Food is fine.

    Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients. I actually enjoyed the house Cabernet very much. Service was excellent. Really nice ambiance.
