   This is a gem. Great food. Top class service and friendly attentive servers. Have been 3 times now and never been let down. The risotto is to die for. Location right on the square

   We had a wonderful evening at the One Lytham even though we had to wait over an hour for our food. We had drank a whole bottle of wine by the time it had arrived but it was worth the wait. I had the fillet steak and it was amazing, cooked to perfection and a generous size. The service was excellent but slow. I think it was maybe a particularly busy Saturday night and will definitely be going back as the food and friendly helpful staff made up for the delays in service.

    Well, this was out first time at The One, Lytham and we are really impressed and will be back for sure. The menu is fabulous and has something for all of us. We are a group of friends (two couples) who dine out very frequently. One of us looks forward to a really good steak, I need to be gluten free and the other two like to have something different and flavourful. My husband is quite a chef at home, so our test is always, 'Could we have had better at home?' Two of us are also keen on dessert too. Last night, we were all really happy and had loads of dishes we could have chosen and will be back to try. We loved the scallops and the black pudding sausages to start. The humus was gorgeous too. Everything is pretty on the plate which says skill, care and thought has gone into every stage of the preparation to get to the pass. Service was slower than we are used to, but was fine for us to enjoy the evening with each other. The waiting on staff are incredibly lovely and helpful and made for a great evening. The food was clearly being prepared order by order, so we were OK to wait. One of out party was 'starving' however, and it might be nice to offer a few olives or something similar if waiting more than 45 minutes for food to arrive. We were thanked for our patience (which was very courteous) but may not suit all diners. Mains didn't disappoint and a great selection for different tastes for informal evening meal with friends. The seabass and the steak were perfect. The chicken burgers looked and tasted amazing, but the chicken itself was a touch dry. Dessert was amazing - a lemon posset and a cheesecake. Clearly home made and again, creative, great tasting and very pretty. I am gluten intolerant and asked for the choices from the menu as it's not been identified. I am intolerant rather than allergic, but I do need to avoid. The waiting on staff were attentive and sought information for me, but I think this could be improved.
