   Family and I were in the area to attend an event at the Times Union Center. We chose The Olde English Pub based on reviews in open table and its proximity to the arena. We were not disappointed! To be totally honest we went in with no expectations and departed full and happy. Our server took the time to explain the menu and even went out of the way to accommodate one of the members in our party with multiple sensitivities. We fully enjoyed ourselves and the meal and we look forward to our next trip to Albany

   The venue was great, and the food was delicious! The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because of the staff. Don't get me wrong; our waitress was social, pleasant, and on top of things. However, it took a while for us to get our food; the kitchen was a little slow. But all-in-all, I loved our experience, and will definitely be back again.

   Went for a date night with my husband and we had a great time! The ambiance was awesome and so was the selection of beer. Menu was smaller than we were used to but everything on it sounded delicious, so it was not hard to pick something. Our meals were good and I highly recommend the Dipping Fries to share. We really enjoyed the various sauces/dips they came with. We were only in town for one night but we returned the very next day for another beer before heading back because we loved the coziness so much. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

   The drinks were great, loved the food. The service was pretty bad, wrong drinks, like cider when beer was ordered. Took so long to see our waitress, we didn't want to send anything back. Hoping for better next time!

   We had dinner in the beautifully landscaped garden on a balmy October evening. Service was great, food was awesome, prices were reasonable....can't wait to go back, although I don't know what the inside dining experience is like.

   The signature Fish and Chips was Excellent! Also has a great beer selection. Crabbies Ginger Beer is my fave. I'll be back!

   We dined outside in their lovely garden on a perfect summer evening. My husband and son selected burgers which were juicy and cooked perfectly. I had cod which was very fresh and cooked well. We had some beers to accompany our dinner. It was an enjoyable experience. When back in Albany, we would return to this restaurant.

    Excellent food and friendly service. Pub wings were very good. The Fish and Chips entree was outstanding with generous portions and reasonably priced. Dessert was amazing. Will definitely come back.
