   The Stonehouse is a great place to celebrate any occasion, romantic dining or family gatherings. Friendly efficient staff and fabulous locally sourced foods. Award winning chef and front of house person.

   As usual it was fabulous, the food, the lovely friendly staff, my favourite place to go on a Sunday when I’m off.

   Honestly so disappointed. Everyone has raved about the old stone house for years, so we went for our daughter's birthday. It was busy, so we didn't mind too much when we were left waiting in the beginning. But then it was waiting for menus, waiting for a server to appear, we had to ask for drinks order to be taken, there wasn't enough cutlery, so they kept having to bring it out. Not all settings had napkins, had to ask for more of those. We were left 20 minutes after our dinner plates were cleared for a dessert menu. It was just disappointing service all around. The food was nice, good portions, and mostly tasty. Bit overpriced too if I'm honest

   We were met by friendly staff, who were competent and attentive. Great service. I had duck spring rolls and Thai chicken stir fry. It was delicious. The place has a lovely atmosphere and was immaculate. Well worth our time and money. Fabulous.

   Always a great experience to eat here. From the warm greeting on arrival to the service and food. Always feel good coming here.

   Amazing as always. Food, ambience, service and presentation were all exceptional. Mags and her team run such a beautiful restaurant.
