   We had no idea that there was a private event happening at the same time as our reservation. It took over an hour to get our cheese platter. We would have appreciated a heads up on the situation instead of dragging out the food.

   Absolutely divine spot for a drink when you really want to settle in and relax - the mixologist uses fresh squeezed juices and handcrafted concoctions that elevate the cocktails to pure pleasure. Views of Georgetown and down the river are lovely. Bring a hair clip - it can be windy up there!

   The view, upscale atmosphere and general service was very good. The waitress wasn't as attentive as I would have liked. I had to request napkins and refill on chips for our ceviche and charcuterie plate, yet never received either. I would recommend this rooftop for special occasions and date nights.

   This was a very negative experience. Clearly watered down drinks. Loud, drunk crowd - a group of whom should have been removed. No knowledge of my booking on OpenTable. Certainly would not recommend or go back. Which is a real pity as it's a lovely space in a nice part of town.

   Upon arriving at this establishment with my reservation, I was promptly shoved out of the way for the arrival of a foreign diplomat to the hotel. I was brusquely informed that the Observatory was now closed, and when I tried asking another question I was waved away and told to leave the premises. I found the entire experience quite unpleasant. If I had only received some form of prior notice of this situation I would not have come in the first place. To have a reservation, arrive at the spot, then immediately be asked to leave without hardly any explanation was not the manner in which I expected to be treated. I wish that this establishment would handle their cancellations with a great amount of more grace.

   I made a reservation thinking this was a dinner spot. But it's actually only for drinks. The view was nice and the sectioned off patio for furniture was cool. Unfortunately my date say in a wet seat, made for an awkward time for her. The dinks are $$$ but on par with the price for DC, I'd say they could do better on their glassware, drinking a $20 margarita out of a plain plastic cup was somewhat underwhelming. Good views, go for a cigar and drink. Good after work place.
