   Sunday lunch with family, although not as busy as previous occasions we enjoyed our meal and restaurant not any less because of being quieter. Also, we were not rushed which is very often an issue if dining on a quiet day.

   Very enjoyable evening. The service was good, friendly and attentive.The meals we ordered were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed although we thought the starters were expensive. The wine was reasonable for a restaurant. We would go again and is now on our list for dining out

   Have visited a number of times to eat and stay. Always a friendly welcome and excellent food, served by attentive staff.

   My wife could not eat her main course as it was full of fat on the shin beef having said that we got a refund on her main course and the chef said it was not accebtable.

   We have always chosen the Oak Tree Inn it is a very nice little place and the steak is absolutely to die for, the Rib Eye is a bit pricey but I definitely not going to complain as it is always nice and juicy, tasty and succulent. However the only issue I have is I ask for a Well Done steak I like a well done steak, I can only surmise the chef took offence? As the steak was cooked, no blood but definitely not well done! I don’t like to listen to the Cow Moo and jump up and do the highland fling as I cut into it! Trust me as my wife cut into hers, I could hear the cow moving and could see the cow dancing on the plate as my wife cut into it! The dessert was gorgeous and sweet but such a small portion, we shared it but I could have had it all to myself. The staff were amazing as usual, so can’t complain there.

   From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive & helpful. The dining room has a lovely relaxed feel to it & the food was superb. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Oak Tree for an evening out.

   This is the second time I have visited the Oak Tree Inn, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome given to my collie/lab dog was genuine, and the service exemplary.

   Very average, nut roast was good, the roast beef too tough to eat (left most of it).

    Had a prawn sandwich. For £6.95 I was expecting soft chunky white bread, large prawns. It was quite the opposite..bread was dry. Prawns were tiny and very dry-hardly any Marie-rose sauce in it. Very disappointing. On the other hand, coffee was excellent!
