   We have eaten at the Northey Arms on several occasions. We always enjoy our visits and have never been dissatisfied. Even during covid restrictions we have found the service and food excellent. The Northey Arms covid safety measures are very good and we have never felt uncomfortable when dining there.

   All was fine except for a disappointing Cheese platter - maybe just a result of these strange Covid times but could have been avoided. No grapes as on menu, bog standard cheese, ropey celery, but good biscuits.

   Very nice place for a dinner. We stayed at the hotel so we also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. In the evening I had a plaice - delicious! Steak was good, but not exceptional :)

   This is our "go to" restaurant as we live nearby. Our last visit was a bit of a shocker - but to be fair it was just after "lockdown" was opened up and it was quite late on a Sunday evening!!! However, this lunchtime visit was great - the whole menu was on, the place was superbly socially distanced and the service was speedy! We ate using a "Travelzoo" voucher which had its time limit extended and our group of four were grateful for the chance to eat out with The Northey. Living in Box - we highly recommend this for drinks and a meal! Well done OHH pubs.

   I had the nut roast Sunday lunch , the potatoes could have been more crispy, the nut roast not that tasty, some Yorkshire puddings with it , would be nice , but obv then not vegan, but that could be optional, I’m pescatarian! On the whole it was quite nice, probably , maybe slightly k ok argent portions , will be goo back again, as I generally rate the food there 👍
