Why The North Coal? The concept was created by the feeling of being away from city life with family and friends. For us, that’s Northern Ontario, but as lucky as we are to experience that way of life, not everyone is. Our mission is to provide that feeling regardless of your surroundings.

    Came in with 5 friends for food and drinks. Overall food was great, ambiance was great, but service was extremely slow. Our server was very nice but took a long time to have our order taken, had empty drinks for long periods and food came out sporadically. Could just have been an off night, overall would recommend. Try the red pepper dip!

    Definitely enjoyed our afternoon date , a co-worker recommended to try. Food was fantastic , came out fresh and hot! Service was friendly and welcoming. Only complaint ...if you can even call it that was we waited longer then we felt necessary for our bill. We will be back again soon :)

    Atmosphere was good but value for money for food was not the best. Not a lot of flavour and portions were small for the $$$

    We had the cauliflower bites as an appetizer and we had the miso baked cod and the steak salad. Both were worthy of ordering next visit!
