   Great cocktails, don’t miss the Polish Dinner, which is a vodka martini garnished with housemade pickled veggies. Excellent food. The charcuterie plate was huge (the one critical remark was that it could use a bit more mustard and preserves, considering the stack of meats and cheeses). The pierogies were tasty. The real star was the stuffed cabbage, which was probably the best I’ve had, somehow managing to be light and flavorful, and held its form without being too greasy or overcooked. Friendly service. A great spot for dinner if you’re in the area.

   We visited NY Restraunt for a late lunch on 2/15/2020 with a party of seven. Our table was ready as per our reservation and we were greeted by friendly and courteous staff. The restaurant was cold, drafty and dark. Our drink order was taken and delivered promptly. Shortly after, our food order was taken, but it took nearly 70 minutes for our food to be served. After the long wait several items were served cold and unappetizing. We discussed returning the items, but having been seated for 90 minutes at that point nobody was interested in extending the visit. Overall our meals were decent and prepared as ordered, but I feel the food is overpriced for the area. During our wait, the staff seated another small group uncomfortably close to us which made any normal conversation awkward in spite of multiple empty available tables. Having been to NY Restaurant twice now in the last 6 months we will not be returning.

   Vday Food was fair I’ll give it a break BC it’s valentines day. Had to wait even though we had a res and wee late 15 minutes so again vday. The charcuterie was ok but picked means pickeled not vegetables doused in vinegar and they should be in turines not just on a plate which caused the vinegar to saturate everything . The steak was cold/warm and the lobster over cooked again vday so a bit of a pass. But the dessert a Tiramasu needs to be moist this dessert was stale and basically some cake so a fail. The hero was the kale chips amazing side dish that makes up for the rails. It’s a polish bar so they should have had some polish beer and some polish deserts the stout I had was good but no Guinness? Should have left then lol in fact that’s my new policy no Guinness and I leave .

   Overall great restaurant and will return. Great atmosphere. Food, although quite pricy was good. The cauliflower wings were awesome. I got the arugula salad with tempeh. I think that brought the salad cost to like 17 bucks. The salad was tasty, but the tempeh was dry and bland. After a glass of wine, the wing appetizer, two salads and an espresso it was $75 with tip. A pretty expensive lunch.

    1st time there. Very enjoyable meal was had by all 4 of us. Tried a specialty drink with tequila.....very good Will definitely recommend and will be back soon. So much more we'd like to try!
