Leading Nantucket’s thriving restaurant scene, The Nautilus (est. 2014) is an island staple built on the idea of a shared social experience. Founders Liam Mackey (food), Clinton Terry (drink) & Stephen Bowler’s (wine & business) island-mentality of being “serious about what we do, but not taking ourselves too seriously” perfectly sums up The Nautilus experience.     We have eaten here before in the fall and loved it. It was the evening menu and our food was excellent and the ambience was perfect. However, we came during busy daffodil weekend and had the lunch entrees. We waited for 20 minutes for our table, and we were told flat out by the server that he could not change the meat that came on a salad. I don't think I have ever been told this before at an restaurant this pricey . we ordered two medium well burgers and one came out extremely bloody in the center. Our server had them cook a new one and was very kind to refund the money although we certainly didn't expect it. Although we will definitely give this place another shot since we had a great experience once before, we feel like the nautilus has gotten pretty full of themselves and has become overrated. We felt like we were treated as if we should be glad they let us eat at their restaurant instead of they should be glad we chose their restaurant.....

    The Nautilus is always fantastic! The food is amazing, and they adjust the menu seasonally but also keep the fan favorites, which is so important! The service is wonderful and they treat everyone so well and warmly.

    Always amazing! Delicious cocktails, delicious food, great service and fun atmosphere. Not as busy or noisy a little pre-season, which we love. Love Nautilus

    Delicious as always! A few new items on the menu since the last time we were there that were delicious (eggplant, lettuce wraps). And of course the standards that we love (oyster tacos, blue crab fried rice) - they never disappoint. The almost naked and famous is the best drink anywhere! Great service, great atmosphere. Love this spot!!

    Amazing, friendly service. Unique and very tasty food. Atmosphere is lively, a little loud as tables are quite close together. Highly recommended dining here if you are visiting Nantucket.
