   I've always wanted to try this place, but its usually busy. So we came on a Sunday evening before a concert. We both had signature drinks, a margarita and a martini. Those were good tasting but not strong. The entrees were both top notch - mahi mahi and lobster nachos. We also had oysters on the half shell as an appetizer and those were excellent. They served them with cocktail sauce, hot pepper sauce, and horse radish. Overall great experience and I highly recommend.

   Although the food and service were good, we went for a high end retirement lunch based on the menu on the web. The brunch offered on the website no longer exists and the hours listed were incorrect. We were expecting lobster omelets and crab Benedict but instead had sandwiches. Again, the food was good but the website is misleading and needs updated.

   The service was slow. We arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation to a sign that said seat yourself. There weren’t any tables for 4 at the moment. When a booth opened we sat down and the waiter gave us an attitude for sitting before they cleaned the table. We didn’t get our food until 7:30! That’s a long time for a burger and fried fish and chips.

   We booked a reservation and when we walked in there was no one to sit us. I asked the waiter and we were told to just sit at the reserved table. He was very welcoming . My first impression that the restaurant was the kind that is purposefully rude. I was not expecting it to be as much of a bar that it was and more of a restaurant. The music was very loud. The guy who sat was our waiter by the end of dinner he was more welcoming . I ordered the cake cakes and they were out of the pretzel bun . The ambiance was cool but the restaurant was not what I expected it to be .

   We ordered 2 drinks, crab cake sliders & a lobster roll. The drinks came out right away but the food never came. A little after our drinks came out our server dropped off sharing plates. Then didn’t check in on us, we flagged him down to ask about our food after sitting for 45 minutes. He said there was a “snafoo” & asked if we’d rather cancel our food order. Not sure why that was his first instinct but after a few minutes we decided to. Wish he would have just been honest & say he forgot to put the order in or whatever really happened.

   The food and cocktails were very good. Our server was very sweet but service was terrible. We ordered hot crab dip and were told someone was supposed to make it but did not. We waited for over an hour to get our entrees. When we did get our food, they had gotten one of our orders wrong (brought a sandwich instead of a wrap). The restaurant was very loud. The ladies room upstairs had no toilet paper while one of the stalls in the downstairs ladies room had a broken lock. If I did recommend this restaurant, I would say get your food to go.

    We had made a reservation, but it was super crowded and we barely got a table. However once we were seated, the server and the food were great!! The Conch fritters and the Mahi Mahi were both wonderful!! The oysters were a hit for my husband!!
