The Munch Factory is a culinary genius that is locally owned and operated by a young African-American couple that continually create food masterpieces, with their Creole background - don't live your life without experiencing this piece of heaven on a plate!

Quality control issues. The bar is a disaster. Fried oysters overdone--practically charred. LONG wait the last time we went--maybe 40 minutes later, the waitress came out and said they were out of the food we ordered. We used to enjoy this restaurant and want to support our neighborhood businesses. The people are lovely, but not sure if we will go again due to consecutive bad experiences.

We waited and waited and waited to be greeted. I had to call the restaurant to get acknowledged. we were sat and waited and waited. The drink my hubby got was tasty and the food took forever but was worth the wait. The soup of the day (seafood chowder) was so good. Everything was seasoned well and the owner was great. Our server should not serve any more. He seemed lost. I think they were overwhelmed with the concert but should have taken priority on us for booking a reservation.

This is a great gem in the University of New Orleans area. It's great for meeting or romance. The food is very good. Uncle Joe's Pasta is worth the trip for anyone but its only on the dinner menu. The Munch Punch is an excellent cocktail.

On our first visit there, about two months ago, we enjoyed the restaurant thoroughly. On the latest visit, however, we thought the quality of the food had declined. We're not likely to return.

Food was awesome, by service was slow, and they weren't packed. Our waitress was more untested in hawking her real estate biz to other customers then bringing food out to waiting tables.

The food & service was awesome! There were 7 in our party, we had the fish special, pork chop, munch bowl, the soup special and bayou nachos. Everyone really enjoyed the meal and drinks. I highly recommend the sidecar and munch punch .
