   Food was excellent. Waitress and hostess could not have been nicer. Saw a beautiful sunset. One of the best dining experiences we have had.

   My two daughters, granddaughter and I were there recently at The Mooring, to celebrate two milestone birthdays. The staff gave my daughters a birthday card signed by the staff members. This was such a nice added touch to such delicious dinners we all enjoyed. Our waitress was engaging and pleasant. We were lucky to have window seats, so were enjoyed a spectacular sunset while dining. We will definitely be returning to the restaurant again when visiting Newport.

   We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the drinks tasty. We were celebrating our anniversary and the server and hostesses acknowledged and congratulated us. 🥰. We will definitely revisit this restaurant the next time we are in town!

   We came into The Moorings with 2 reservations , my bad! Greeted right away, asked for a table with a view and was very accommodating. Christine was our server and was very friendly and genuinely sweet. Christine took our drink order got that right away. We ordered the clam chowder which we were very excited about getting and it was loaded and delicious. Very satisfying. For our entrées my husband had a steak with the vegetables and potatoes. I noticed that he didn’t finish the broccoli Rob or the potatoes, but did enjoy his steak prepared just the way he likes it medium rare. I ordered the seafood pasta which the sauce was very good. The shrimp and the scallops were seared perfectly. However, they put a breadcrumb on top that is seasoned which overpowered the flavors of the rest of the food so I would ask not for that to be put on top. We did order the famous biscuit with honey, which is enough for four people was very good, but very sweet and very filling took that home as well as half of my pasta dish between the soup and the bread and the entrées we were full. Definitely would go again, very nice atmosphere very good service, very nice people.

   As ALWAYS we love the Moorings! Easter late lunch was excellent…fantastic specials! Everything was delicious. Our server was wonderful and attentive. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience!

   Our waitress was very attentive .. her name escapes me but she’s from North Carolina. Food was delicious and came out piping hot. Very cool atmosphere. We will be back !!

    We visit this establishment occasionally and it’s always on point. Our server was Jess, she was very pleasant. It was a great way to spend our Easter Sunday 🐣🐰
