The Mixer restaurant is in the historic 6th district in downtown Hopkinsville KY. Come see the newly renovated building that housed the iconic Young Hardware store from 1898 to 2017.
Get that big city experience in small town Kentucky with an open concept dining room, original brick walls, a beautiful centerpiece bar made from reclaimed wood, and balcony seating that overlooks the space.
We match the ambiance with a menu of handcrafted seasonal dishes, craft cocktails, gourmet coffees and homemade desserts. We also strive to source products from local businesses to showcase what this city has to offer.
Our food is best described as new American with Southern flare and international inspirations.
Some of our most popular dishes include: Shrimp and Grits, Double Cut Pork Chop, and Cold Smoked Crispy Skinned Salmon.

    We have a beautiful Mezzanine, which over looks the restaurant, and can be used for a variety of events, such as rehearsal dinners, baby showers, bridal showers, Hail and Farewells and more.     We had our usual fabulous experience at The Mixer. Even though it was Easter brunch and busy, they had set everything to run with beautiful efficiency. Our servers were prompt and attentive and our food (as always) was delicious! Love the gourmet coffee choices too!

    I love dining at The Mixer when I’m in town. Last night my friend and I shared the Belgian Endive and Quinoa appetizer and it was fantastic. I find the menu to be creative and offer something for everyone … this was the second time I ordered the Goat Cheese Brûlée and Steak salad and it didn’t disappoint. The service is consistently top notch and The Mixer has a very comfortable and welcoming vibe.

    A hidden gem in Hopkinsville! Everyone is so friendly and personable! Food is delicious! Absolutely the best cocktails and appetizers anywhere❤️. We love The Mixer❤️
