We locally source our ingredients from farms within a 150-mile radius of The Met. Entrance to the Museum and The Met Dining Room requires a ticket or Membership card.                                                       Overall it was pleasant, but very pricey. Not much help for gf people. Apparently they used to have Gluten free rolls - but no longer do. It is 2025, get with it Met Dining Room!

                                                      Crab cakes were very fishy. Did not eat them. Waitress never asked us about our meal. Great setting. Everyone else’s food was average. Would go back for convenience, atmosphere and quite not the food.

                                                      Food was good, but the servers were very sloppy spilling water multiple times when refilling our glasses, dropping bread on the floor when serving, miss timing the dishes so one person had to wait quite a bit longer for theirs, waiter was kind and responsive but other servers need training and to get off their phones.

                                                      Great option for an elegant lunch on a museum day. Quiet, with a lovely view of Central Park. The menu is a bit pricey, but the food is high quality and the atmosphere and service are lovely. Highly recommended for any special occasion.
