   Excellent food, tasty cocktails, good service. This was our second visit, will definitely visit again.

   Went for a birthday meal. From being greeted until the end of the meal was excellent. There were a good choice of menu. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

   Steak was nice and like butter to cut. Lamb was tasteless. The place is interesting I think once you have been once you may request where you want to sit as some tables are very poorly lit and close to the next table. Would recommend the steak but nothing outstanding.

   Went for a family meal before returning to university and the food was incredible. I shared the chateaubriand with my father and it was cooked to perfection; melted in the mouth! The staff were very attentive and could not have done more for us. The venue is stunning inside and the food and staff reflect the creativity and warmth of the venue! A place not to be missed

   Went for a pre-christmas friends get together. Food was lovely, service was excellent and with a smile and the martinis were amazing.

   We booked here for food as my wife wanted to go and were very disappointed with the service the meat came out first and looked nice then eight minutes later the chips turned up by then the food was cold .

   Food was excellent but the services could be better, we where asked three times by separate waiters if we wanted to order drinks which still took 15 minutes to arrive, its early days so i guess that can be forgiven until the staff settle in. The tomahawk steak was excellent as was my wife’s rib eye. Wine list is good and the whole restaurant has a quality feel to it. Will definitely be back soon.

   There were only 6 other customers in the restaurant.at 215pm on this Sat. There were 4 items on the main menu not available....which was not a good sign as this was the Sat before Xmas and lunch time so am guessing the people booked on Sat night would not have these items also....eg no fillet steak...no rib eye....the restaurant specialises in steak?? The service was very very very slow as there were 4 waitress who were very pleasant but not efficient and only 11 customers...the food took a very long time to come to the table.The Sirloin steaks served and the venison all had good flavour. we had one bottle of sparkling waterThere was no more sparkling water available...I feel if I was the owner/manager I would have sent one of the many waitress over to Sainsburys which is a 5 min walk away to pick up some sparkling water and some steaks so that at least the customer would go away happy.(as there were so few of us) I am sorry I cannot recommend The Meatery as I do not feel we had a good overall experience.

   The staff were very friendly, lovely welcome they were lovely! But the service was so slow, waited ages for main course, when we finished our drinks, we waited a while then one of us had to go find someone to get us more, waited too long for someone to take dessert order. Food was okay, depends what you order, not much meat in shredded beef and mash mallow dessert is tasteless. Chicken dish and cheese cake were lovely!

    Very good first time at Meatery & Martini. Only issue we had was that the food took a long time between each course to come out. Although it was hot on arrival. Great staff, helpful & friendly. Food was on point.
