   Great experience - nice venue, good service, good food. Steaks were not quite cooked to order, but they were still more than good enough to eat.

   After coming here for lunch in September, we came back to Adelaide wanting to do this on our first night because of how much we had loved it. I completely regret that we did. We were sat right next to the server’s station and had too many people coming and going while we were trying to have an intimate meal, and the staff completely misread what attention we wanted. We were overserved and bothered excessively and I was asked more than six times in fifteen minutes if I wanted my glass refilled by multiple people, which made me irritated having to explain over and over I like to drink slowly and didn’t want my champagne to be warm and that I would like to refill my glass myself. Then we got our steaks, which by the way are not cheap and are also the only thing on the plate excluding the sauce, WITHOUT our sides. In fact the wait for our sides was five to ten minutes, in which time we didn’t and couldn’t start eating the steak. We had to ask two different members of staff to follow this up. When the sides did arrive my steak was too cold to eat and by then the entire experience for us was ruined and the meal was inedible. I was offered a new steak but that would mean my sides were cold by the time I had the steak, and would restart this vicious cycle of a poorly timed meal. They offered to get someone to call me next week, but why would I want that when that’s not improving the immediacy of the situation in anyway, and I was needing to go and try to get into another restaurant to go have dinner on a Friday night during peak time. To say we are disappointed, inconvenience and let down is an understatement.

    The staff were incredibly attentive and the atmosphere was fabulous! The food was outstanding and we would definitely come back again if we return on holiday to Adelaide. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
