   Market Porter - February 2020. I met some friends at the Market Porter for post work drinks and dinner. Nice pub, typical pub fare. Would happily return.

   Good roast dinner on a Sunday. Veg option good but cut up your beetroot in the wellington. Otherwise lovely

   Best steak I’ve had in ages. And really great service from our waitress Annetta! She was really friendly, and kindly answered all of our annoying questions on the menu :) took good care of us and gave great menu recommendations. Our table had the steak, haddock and pie - and all plates were wiped clean the food was so good! Will definitely be back very soon!

   Food excellent as always, Harvey's beer well kept. Quite quiet this lunchtime, although understand fully booked for two successive evenings. Nice to have the usual table overlooking the Market. Staff great!

   Great food and a great atmosphere. The staff are lovely, very friendly and attentive without being over-bearing. Really good experience!

   Great service, really friendly staff. We were late and our table was kept for nearly half an hour. The food was so good and great value for money. I'm definitely going back!

   My second visit, both occasions being for an early evening supper meeting family. What first drew us here by chance was the upstairs dining room, a relative haven compared to the extreme noise of many London pubs, so that we could at least hear ourselves talk. The food turned out to be excellent, maybe a little pricey, but I live in Norfolk so most London things seem expensive. Staff were very attentive, beers good, Harveys from Lewes being a favourite of mine. All in all a great find.

    Limited selection of food but everything we ordered was delicious. Quiet as it was mid afternoon. Waitress lovely
