   Everything was really good except for the background music, which wasn't... Bit loud for a restaurant.

   Food selection and value has declined with recent menu change. Tried the Moroccan bowl - poor presentation, looked and tasted like a Tesco ready meal :( Shame as previously our ‘go to’ destination for dinner out

   Not worth the money they are charging for for the food can get a lot better quality for the money

   We've always loved the Marchmont, great building with tons of history but unfortunately let down by standard restaurant etiquette. We were led to our table by the very pleasant maitre'd to a very wet table which when wiped still had a watermark seeped into the wood. The side plates were dirty and the cutlery stained. Having worked in the business for over 30 years I appreciate being busy, but they weren't! The starters were well presented, but the chicken was tasteless and the koftas overcooked. Moving onto the mains, the wagyu burger was overcooked and dry and the crab and lobster tasteless. Overall, disappointing but we will always give it another go.

   Excellent food and friendly service. Quite slow to take our food order so didn't get it until an hour after arrival.

   Good food! Service at the bar was very slow before we had dinner, need more staff or train them to work more quickly. Otherwise very good.

   Great place / location, menu isn't the greatest for a vegetarian and the prices are a bit over the top for the portion size and type of cuisine in comparison to others.
